Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: 22/07/2025

At Malaiyou, we value your trust and strive to provide you with the best travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and therefore we have established a clear and fair Return & Refund Policy to ensure transparency and peace of mind when booking with us.

1. Eligibility for Refund

  • Refund requests are only eligible if submitted at least 30 days before the scheduled travel date.
  • Refunds will not be granted for cancellations made within 30 days of the travel date.
  • Certain products or services, such as non-refundable tickets, hotel reservations, or third-party promotional offers, may have their own refund terms, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

2. Refund Process

  • To request a refund, you must submit a written cancellation request through your Malaiyou account or by contacting our customer support team at malaiyou.asia@gmail.com.
  • Once your request is received, we will review it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Processing Time

  • Refund approvals typically take 5–7 business days to process.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 7–14 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled travel date.
  • “No-show” on the day of travel.
  • Services already utilized, partially completed trips, or package components already redeemed (e.g., hotel nights, attraction tickets).
  • Any fees charged by airlines, hotels, or third-party providers that are explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of booking.

5. Modifications & Rebooking

  • If you wish to change your travel dates instead of canceling, we may offer rebooking options subject to availability and any fare differences or fees charged by our suppliers.
  • Requests for modification should also be submitted at least 30 days before the travel date.

6. Force Majeure Events

In cases where travel is disrupted due to unforeseen events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics), Malaiyou will work with our suppliers to provide the best possible solution, which may include:

  • Rebooking to a later date, or
  • Issuance of travel credits, subject to supplier policies.
